Jules Cluzel en Alex Lowes hebben zondagochtend op het Chang International Circuit de snelste tijd op de klok gezet tijdens de warm-up. In de World Supersport klasse noteerden Kenan Sofuoglu en Kyle Smith de tweede en derde tijd, in de World Superbike klasse waren dat Jonathan Rea en Leon Haslam.
<p><strong>World Supersport </strong><br /> Met een snelste ronde van 1’37.831 was het de Fransman Jules Cluzel die zondagochtend tijdens de vijftien minuten durende warm-up sessie op het Chang International Circuit de snelste tijd liet noteren. </p> <p><br /> </p> <p>Achter de MV Agusta coureur wist Kenan Sofuoglu de tweede tijd op de klok te zetten gevolgd door Kyle Smith, Lorenzo Zanetti, Patrick Jacobsen en Lucas Mahias. De dit weekend voor zijn thuispubliek rijdende Ratthapark Wilairot sloot de warm-up sessie af met de zevende rondetijd terwijl Roberto Rolfo, Gino Rea en Dominique Schmitter de laatste drie coureurs waren binnen de top tien.</p> <p><br /> </p> <p> Tijdens de slechts vijftien minuten durende sessie waren er crashes voor Fabio Menghi, Gino Rea en Riccardo Russo. Alledrie coureurs bleven ongedeerd en zullen later op de dag gewoon aan de wedstrijd deel kunnen nemen. </p>
<p><strong>World Superbike</strong><br /> Net als tijdens de Superpole kwalificatie was ook de warm-up sessie zondagochtend een compleet Brits feestje. Met een snelste ronde van 1’33.954 was het Alex Lowes die als enige onder de 1’34 grens wist te duiken en daarmee na afloop van de vijftien minuten durende sessie de lijst aanvoerde.
