Na een korte zomerpauze vertrekt het Ducati Marlboro team naar Brno. Vorig jaar kampte Casey Stoner met zijn gezondheidsproblemen en sloeg hij het tot zijn favoriete circuits behorende Brno over en hij wil dat gemis graag goed maken.

chronische vermoeidheid te hebben gekampt besloot Casey Stoner om drie races uit te zitten om te kunnen herstellen van wat uiteindelijk een intolerantie van lactose bleek te zijn. Brno was het eerste circuit waar de Australiër niet van de partij was en omdat Stoner het circuit tot zijn favoriete circuits rekent wil hij juist nu graag goed presteren.<br /><blockquote>ÒBrno is een van mijn favoriete circuits, ik ben er helemaal weg van sinds ik er in 2002 voor het eerst op geracet heb.
